How it works
Type a product name, brand or barcode, or open the camera scanner to read the barcode directly.
We read the ingredient list and E-numbers from the product record and run them through our halal rules.
See halal, haram or doubtful for each ingredient, plus a confidence score and the reason behind it.
No haram ingredients or doubtful additives detected. Suitable to buy.
Contains pork, alcohol, carmine (E120), non-halal animal derivatives or other clearly impermissible ingredients.
Contains additives like E471, gelatine, rennet or natural flavouring where the source is not stated on the label.
Works with products found in UK supermarkets
